Lyndy Berardi, Primary Therapist

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel daunting, but I’m glad you’re here. Welcome back if you are returning to therapy for a new chapter. Therapy can help lift the fog and clarify where you want to go. If you want to change but are unsure where to start, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Many clients struggle with chronic stress, low self-esteem, lack of purpose, complex trauma, burnout, and its impact on behavioral health.

Before joining Elevate Wellness Collective, I worked with individuals facing substance use disorders, which deepened my understanding of how behaviors shape thoughts, feelings, and sense of self. This reinforced my belief in behavioral change and a compassionate, holistic, ground-up approach to therapy.

As a therapist and pending Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist, I focus on the connection among behaviors, lifestyle choices (such as nutrition, exercise, and other daily habits), family systems, career demands, and mental health as a foundation for lasting change. I also have a professional and therapeutic interest in nutritional psychiatry, integrating an understanding of how nutrition and biological factors can support both psychotherapy work and medication management goals to optimize overall mental health outcomes. Many clients do not initially seek nutritional support, yet food is often one of the most accessible coping mechanisms, though certainly not the only one. We explore why we do what we do, build alternative coping skills, and deepen awareness of how trauma and lived experiences shape coping patterns. While healthy routines can significantly support emotional well-being, mood-related challenges can make consistency difficult. I help clients break these cycles, improve insight into mind-body connections, and build sustainable, realistic habits that support both mental and physical health in a way that complements broader treatment, including psychiatric care when applicable.

I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and action-oriented strategies, with occasional psychoanalytic insight. My structured, goal-focused approach bridges physiological and psychological aspects, helping create practical changes while addressing emotional barriers and putting actionable steps into practice.

I view therapy as a partnership combining your lived experience with clinical tools to create meaningful change and value collaboration, transparency, and teamwork in sessions. My style is warm, directive, and nonjudgmental, fostering insight, resilience, and empowered decision-making. If you want a therapist who supports clarity, skill-building, and progress toward personal and professional goals, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

Sessions are paced to your needs, and we will continuously revisit goals to ensure progress feels aligned, sustainable, and supportive of your overall well-being inside and outside of therapy. We adjust as life changes, so therapy remains relevant and effective for you in each stage of growth, always evolving.
