Clinical Therapist
Life can bring challenges that leave you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about what comes next. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, grief, a major life transition, trauma, addiction, or struggles with self-esteem, you don't have to face it alone. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward healing.
I work with teens (13+) and adults, taking an eclectic, client-centered approach to therapy. Rather than believing there is a one-size-fits-all solution, I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches to create a treatment plan that reflects your unique strengths, experiences, and goals. I have experience supporting individuals with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, self-esteem concerns, LGBTQIA+ issues, and addictions, including gambling, eating disorders, and alcohol use.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years as a hospice nurse, an experience that continues to shape the way I connect with clients today. Sitting alongside individuals and families during some of life's most vulnerable moments taught me the power of compassion, presence, and truly listening without judgment. It reinforced my belief that every person's story matters and that healing begins when we feel safe enough to share it.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I enjoy helping clients explore how past experiences may be influencing their present relationships, emotions, and behaviors. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is watching clients gain new insight into themselves, develop healthier coping strategies, and begin to experience hope where they once felt stuck. While we can't change the past, we can work together to lessen its impact and create a future that feels more peaceful, meaningful, and fulfilling.
Above all, I believe therapy is a partnership. My role is to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and encouragement as you discover your strengths, overcome obstacles, and build the life you want to live. It is a privilege to be part of each client's journey, and I am committed to providing a welcoming environment where you can feel supported every step of the way.
