Christopher Snyder, CRNP, PMHNP-BC
I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in Pennsylvania, with a background as a Registered Nurse across a variety of clinical settings. I also have experience providing outpatient psychiatric care as a PMHNP through secure virtual platforms, allowing me to support patients effectively and conveniently via telehealth. My work is guided by a deep interest in understanding the human mind and helping individuals feel more balanced, supported, and empowered in their mental health journey.
My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard, respected, and genuinely understood. I take time to listen to your story, explore your unique needs, and work collaboratively with you at a pace that feels right. Through thoughtful medication management and therapeutic support, I help you develop tools and strategies that align with your goals and your life.
I am particularly passionate about the science behind how psychiatric medications affect the brain. I believe that combining a strong foundation in neuroscience, evidence-based care, and a holistic understanding of each patient allows for truly personalized treatment. With careful guidance, medications can be a powerful tool in supporting emotional stability, focus, and overall well-being.
I provide individualized care for adults (ages 16+) experiencing:
Depression
Anxiety
Insomnia
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
Trauma and PTSD
Mood disorders, including bipolar disorder
ADHD
Personality disorders
Anger-related difficulties
By integrating comprehensive assessment, evidence-based medication management, and compassionate psychotherapy, I support patients in creating meaningful change. I aim to help you build resilience, foster growth, and move forward with confidence and hope.
You don’t have to go through this alone, and I am honored to walk beside you on your journey.
