Christine Altomare M.A.

Mental Health Primary Therapist

Christine Altomare holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and approaches therapy through a compassionate, trauma-informed lens. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and empathetic environment where clients feel heard, valued, and understood, especially in the context of trauma work.

Christine is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based modality that helps clients process and heal from traumatic experiences, reduce emotional distress, and develop healthier coping strategies. She uses EMDR to guide clients through challenging memories in a structured and supportive way, fostering resilience and helping clients move forward in their healing journey.

In addition to her EMDR work, Christine integrates a client-centered approach that honors each individual’s unique story and pace in therapy. She draws on strengths-based and trauma-informed principles to support clients in building insight, self-compassion, and lasting emotional growth.
