Christine Altomare
Mental Health Primary Therapist Graduate Intern
Christine Altomare is a graduate student at Waynesburg University currently completing her practicum at Elevate Wellness Collective. She is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and empathetic environment where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. Christine training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy that helps clients process and heal from past traumatic experiences, reduce emotional distress, and develop healthier coping strategies. She uses EMDR to guide clients through challenging memories in a structured and supportive way, helping them build resilience and move forward.
In addition to EMDR, Christine incorporates a variety of evidence based therapeutic techniques to support clients in identifying their strengths, overcoming challenges, and achieving their personal goals.
